Italy Consumer Industries and Metals Consumption 2024

After experiencing the world war, the economy of Italy has experienced a growing but with ups and downs trend and today it is the eighth largest economy in the world. The industrial sector of Italy is one of the strategic sectors of country’s economy in terms of its high capabilities in the production and supply of high quality and competitive goods. In fact, the high power of various Italian brands in various industries such as automobile manufacturing, industrial machinery and home appliances has made this country become one of the important players in the aforementioned industries in the world markets. This issue has caused the growth of the consumption of base metals in this country.

In this regard, this report, after examining the path of economic growth and the current conditions of Italy, has examined the development path and the process of activity and production of various consumer industries in this country separately. Then the consumption of base metals, including steel, aluminum and copper, in each industry in Italy has been separately calculated. In the last chapter of this report, a summary of the consumption market of the aforementioned base metals has been done and the share of each industry has been calculated separately in the consumption market of these metals. Then, with the aim of forecasting the future conditions of each industry, its production performance was examined in three scenarios, and then the consumption of metals in each of the consumer industries was estimated according to different conditions.  At the end, according to the conditions of each industry, the future of the consumption market of the three metals of steel, aluminum and copper in Italy has been examined in three scenarios. In fact, this report, by giving a proper view to the industry activists from the point of view of the direction and future of the activity of each industry, depicts accurate and suitable prospects for the evolution of the base metals consumption market in Italy.
