Today, Canada is considered one of the world’s industrial countries, and the country’s industry sector has experienced important developments during the past few decades. This has caused Canada to become one of the consumers of base metals in the world. In this regard, the current report deals with a comprehensive review of Canada’s economy and consumption of metals in this country.
In the first chapter of this report, the history of developments and the current conditions of Canada’s economy have been examined. In the second chapter, mineral potentials and development process and performance of the Canada’s mining sector and mining industries have been reviewed. In the third, fourth and fifth chapters, the three sectors of consumer industries, construction, including various building and infrastructure sectors, and finally Canada’s agriculture are studied. Finally, in the final chapter, conclusion and estimation of the total consumption of metals in this country, as well as the share of each industry in consumption of metals, have been examined. In the end, the future of the metal consumption market has been studied in three scenarios.
