In the past few decades, by prioritizing the policies of industrial development and economic growth, Brazil has achieved a gross domestic product of more than $2 trillion and has been placed next to the largest economies in the world. Today, even though Brazil is considered as one of the decisive countries in the world economy and trade for the supply of raw materials and minerals, the path of industrial development in this country has made Brazil one of the markets for the consumption of base metals.
Accordingly, in the present report, the metal consumption market of Brazil and forecast of their future trends have been discussed and investigated. In this way, the economic conditions of this country and its trends from the past to the present have been evaluated in the beginning. In the next sections, the performance of various industries, the amount of metal consumption in each industry, and forecast of their future trends will be examined. In the final part, the total consumption of metals in Brazil’s industries and the contribution of each industry to the consumption of metals in different scenarios are measured and evaluated.
